Have you ever played an instrument before? If you have never played an instrument, don’t worry. All you need is your instructor-selected instrument and a zeal to learn. If you have played an instrument before, this class will build your skills and improve your techniques. You will learn to read notes, recognize time signatures, music theory, control tempo, and much more. So, grab your instrument, and let’s rock.

Can you cook a meal that includes more than noodles and eggs? If not, this course will teach you the fundamentals of cooking. You will learn safety in the kitchen and proper care for and use of the appliances and other culinary equipment and utensils. This course will cover food safety, proper knife skills, nutrition, and how to prepare recipes, including an introduction to baking techniques. So, grab an apron, and let’s cook.

Want to make sound financial decisions? This is the class for you. Students will learn skills to become sensible consumers and responsible savers. They will also learn about budgeting, investing, and various saving account options. Students will become empowered to make informed financial decisions and become wise money managers.

Students will learn leadership skills, problem-solving skills, and foster a mindset of initiative. This class will teach how to identify problems and needs in the community and create ways to solve them. Students will learn to develop comprehensive business plans, create budgets, manage finances, marketing strategies, and effective management techniques.
